Count Your Blessings!

Greetings to you. How has your week been?  WOW!  We are at the end of 2018.  I really wonder how this year flew by so fast. Like a roller coaster if you ask me

lol...

I clearly remember my last Christmas and other things that happened like yesterday. I remember always telling my kids that 2018 was going way too fast and I just wished it could slow down. Well, time waits for nobody, hence the need to judiciously use it to the best of our ability. It's been a tough and interesting year but it's  had its highlights too. Very grateful to the Lord Almighty for being around and there for me.

How has your year been? Beautiful, great, awesome, brilliant, hard, challenging, disappointing, painful?   Which do you wish to end 2018 with? The pains or the gains? Well, I choose the gains and the blessings because only the LIVING celebrates. Therefore I choose to count my blessings and thank God for everything that has led up to this second.

Whether it be the fact that you're alive, you're  here, you're  healthy, you're working, you're walking, you have a roof over your head, you have kids you have a family, your loved ones are alive,  you can see, talk, cry (add to the list too), find reason to always give gratitude and thanks to the Almighty. I hope you're aware many people can't do these things we unconsciously take for granted. Blessings don't have to be  just milestones or dreams that come to pass, but little things that make the difference in our lives!

Release yourself from that anger or depression and be grateful. Get ready for 2019. Not  necessarily New Year resolutions, but hey, if it works for you please go ahead.

Reflect on the ending year and learn from the mistakes. Don't crucify yourself. We can not come and go and kill ourselves.

lol...

Rejoice and be grateful for another year to get things right and properly done!

Rise and shine! Enjoy the season and have fun!

Here are some jewelries to inspire you and kill that outfit. Available for order. Customized as well if you want!

Remember, you have blessings that money can't buy! Be encouraged and drop a word below!

Blessings!

Bond Earrings: United We Share

Another reason why it's special is because of the number 3 and what it stands for. 3 represents love, perfection or completion which complements closeness and bonding

I'm going to share a personal story with you today. I grew up with my grandma and looking back to those days bring fond and sweet memories. My grandma was an industrious and beautiful being (both in and out). She was accommodating and encouraged me to take my education seriously and the power it holds for our future even though she, herself, wasn't educated. This was one of the many other things she did to make sure we were on the right path. Personally, when I look back,I remember the daily chores I was subjected to do. Oh! how I hated them...lol. Today I appreciate those things and I thank God she brought me up the old traditional way; what they term "old school".

She lived a fulfilled life and passed away in 2017 at a very ripe age of  96! Leaving behind  many children, grand and great grand...what a blessing! Not just her biological children, however, she had adopted and acquired children cutting across different generations! Now, why this story? I shared a very close relationship with her and even loved her more when, I got married, had kids and started understanding how life is! Her words of wisdom, advice and views about things helped shape me. I remain eternally grateful for that and I pray I'll be able to touch lives the way she did (in my own little way) and keep her legacy going on.So help me God, Amen!!

This beautiful bond I shared with her gave birth to my BOND EARRINGS which is in honour of her.  Another of  my little ways to keep her legacy alive. It's a simple set of earrings; 3 pairs, similar in design but not the same length. These earrings were made for people who share special bond: Mothers and daughters, Sisters, Besties, Role models/ Mentors....anyone you share a very close relationship with.  So you're able to carry around a physical/ sentimental representation of those special people who influenced you, and without them, the story of your life is incomplete ...you get the drift?

This is a limited edition, created based on customers'preferences. Also, If possible, share your story on why you need these lovelies just like I did!
Note: colours vary!

Thank you for reading and I will love to hear from you because united we stand and share with our Bond Earrings!

Cheers to that!

Christmas In the Air

A lot of things happened these past few years and I just couldn't write! It was so bad that I even contemplated shutting down this blog! Anyway, let me not bore you with the details, I just want to apologize for the long absence. I hope I'm forgiven and given another chance! I'm back for you.

In that spirit, Season's greetings to YOU and your loved ones!Hope you're feeling the Christmas mood in your area as much as I'm. It's one of my favourite times of the year because of what it stands for (for Christians around the world) and the bubbling and exciting activities that come with it! The beautiful Decorations!!

I'm still in the business of jewelry making, and a lot of events happen at this time of the year too. Weddings, Parties, Housewarming and Burial celebrations. These warrant having to look your best in that outfit. And of course, your outfits are never complete without a beautiful jewelry to finish up. I hope you get what I mean...lol

So, we do have a lot of great designs for any outfit and occasion. Because of my long absence, I will be posting our latest designs regularly to be updated.  Kicking off with this simple but stunning coral set. So far it's been made in three different colours, and there's room for more. It's one of our best sellers this 2018.

Interested in any of our pieces, leave a comment and shoot us an email. We would be glad to serve you.
What's your favourite thing about this Season? Please share with us and enjoy one of our 2018 bestsellers.

Peach Vine

This beautiful piece took me 48 hours (2 days) and am glad with the end result. You might be wondering (or not) why I decided to give it the name Peach vine. I used size 8/0 seed beads to make the woven neckline. From the neckline, strands begin to drop down forming the vine-like features. They then open up to other branches giving it that rough but nice look.At the end of each strand is a pink crystal to compliment the peach. The earrings are also the same design but have pink crystal balls at its end.

Tell me what you think of this set and kindly make suggestions.

Multi-strands With Style

I apologize for the long absence again. This is not intentional as alot of things went down these past months! I must however say, I did squeeze out sometime to bead and get challenged and inspired when time permits.

This is my latest design and its made up of 15-layers in front and 8 on both sides at the back. The 2 plates on both sides took almost a day  to fill up with the beads. That was the most challenging aspect of the design.

The design came in monochrome and multi colour too. The multi colour  was difficult to balance out because of the various colours used. This took me such a LONG time to sort out! At a point, I almost wanted to give up and do a simpler version. But I told myself, if I don't do it now, I won't learn from my mistakes and get better. Hence, I did challenge myself and got the work done!

More colours came in as well, the black and white versions! What's your favourite and why?

Drop your thoughts....... Thank you!

The BeadStyle Magazine Competition 2015: ROYALTY Won!

If you still recall, my piece was put up for a in BeadStyle Magazine late last year. The competition involved voting daily for two good weeks! What a time! Being our very first competition, the feeling was intense and real!

I bet you said you never heard from me again about it right? Like what happened to ROYALTY (the piece for the competition).?  Who won the competition? Blah, blah, blah...

Well, we won! Our piece ROYALTY won out of over 370 competitors from all over the world! It was an amazing feeling when I got the email form them! I mean I was ecstatic! Who wouldn't anyway. I had to be silent about it when I got the email last year because that was one of the rules.

So, we won, and it feels good! Our ROYALTY piece is now featured in the May Edition of BeadStyle Magazine! So grateful!

Why and how did I pick this piece for the competition?
This set was picked amongst others for the competition by my baby (though she's seven years old) and I. We just felt its the right one and went ahead to get a name for it. It's wearable! It's a simple, classy, timeless and beautiful jewelry that would appeal to any woman from any work of life! It's a set that exudes richness and spectacle as the name implies! However, this doesn't mean you have to break the bank but rather, you would actually have a feel of royalty when it's adorned. So I suggested Royalty and she said "Yes mummy, that sounds and feels right for it" Just like that, the name was adopted.  ROYALTY is a set that every woman would love to have in her collection.....that's wearable!

We want to use this medium to thank ALL those who supported and voted for us. THANK YOU very much and may God richly celebrate you at HIS time!

I present to you the winning piece of 2015 BeadStyle Magazine Visit Your Local Bead ShopContest!

Thanks again to all who supported us! CHEERS to more fulfilling opportunities!
